field camp sux man but it was fun, getting dirty, not caring about how evryone will perceive you, ants and thorns are fucked up when proning though.

today tried DFT... totally fucked up lol, swim until want die, push up until want die, sit up until want die, pull up until want die, 3km (supposed to be 2.4km) run die liao, need more training from CDC lol!

got chosen for IC next week, last week of BMT, hope I wun let the class down :)

VOC cleared! field camp and 24km left! I swear i am damn happy when a helmet evolution is completed, fk the stupid helmet seriously, the longer i wear it, the stupiaker i get.

awesome short two days of camp... super fast pace run den ltr time run super alot of rounds -.- followed by VOC the next day... achelikeashit.

gotta improve on my swimming, yesterday clocked 14.14, fail sia knn! buck up foo!

woooo got BMT gold! 9:29 for 2.4km! improved by 1:11 minutes! proud or what sia!

dunno how i improved but i used a different strategy, instead of chionging at the start like buay gao tam, i started slow and accelerated along the way, less tiring and faster, gonna get diver's gold in next IPPT! JY!

this week nothing much happening but next week shiok wed den need book in so left thurs and fri den book out again! muhahahha!

think i got 24/32 for range, 1 more to marksman but nvm la NDU no marksman allowance.

Did my VOC timing w/o rifle, got 4:47, could had been better if i didnt fail the wall and rest in tunnel lol.

did 16km route march too, fking wanted to die after the 12km mark, whole body felt hot, super giddy but my batchboys motivated me to push on if not i would had given up, thx guys! 24km is next! suck it up!

next week will be IPPT, other stations i dun care le, just want to improve my 2.4km timing, hope i do well and the weather assist me abit, a cloudy day would be perfect :)

super little sleep this week man, only had 4 hrs sleep everyday... hope next week will get more sleep.

VOC & Route march

Did my vocational obstacle course (VOC) last week and it was kinda hard for me cause of all the height elements... like low rope, low wall, balancing beam and jacob's ladder.

next week got VOC again, got to conquer my fears and complete it fast because soon we will be timed.

did route march also, 4km only but damn, was the field pack heavy, i think it was about 15 - 20 kg with all the rubbish inside it. dunno how i gonna survive the 24km route march, hope all goes well.

finally my side stroke with fins is horrendous, slower than my breast stroke!

ah alot of things need to improve for the week, not forgetting IPPT, must improve 2.4 timing!

ah nth much to say le... good bye!

p.s. missing dear more and more, abscence really does make the heart grow fonder :/
well at least she is enjoying herself there :)

passed drown proofing ytd and am proud of myself although it was a struggle because of the water pressure that i am not used to yet. kept treading to catch my breath den instructor keep calling me to just go down and take, super pressured but i managed to calm myself down.

also did the cat 1 swim jump from 3m, before the jump, i told instructor i afraid of heights den knn he make me jump twice, the jump is fucked up rly, the speed at which u r going down is fking fast when u hit the water, water go into your nose, fked up that need to do it twice... next time i will just suck it up and do it!

fruitful week i guess... have to get used to having stand by bed evryday!

participated in urun (10km + 30 storey climb) today, not bad experience, had blister on my right sole den only ran 4km, walk 4km and the reaming 2km is like walk-run-walk-run-walk-run.

met two friends, one was running with me, one was helping out at the booth.

the 10km is normal normal de lor but the killer was the 30 storey building!

because i was kinda behind, i cannot hold the railing because it contained sweat from the hundreds before me, it was damn slippery and gross!

the climb was simply painful, saw so many people give up and rest but i knew if i stop, i will not continue on so i pushed on and on and on and it goes on and on and on oh oh~!

but once reach the top, very windy, very shiok, legs were finally rested :D

my timing was around 1:15 for the 10km and ended the climb at 1:34 btw.

pre-enlistee foo here!

i just came back from vocational assessment at naval diving unit today and gonna give u guys who googled a brief summary of what to expect there :)

ok firstly in the morning, you will need to go to sembawang mrt at 7.30am to take attendance and board the bus to NDU.

bear in mind to wait at the [D] pick up point, follow the sign, i waited in front of sun plaza with the others... SO STUPID~!

After reaching NDU, you will deposit prohibited items (mainly your phone) inside the lockers, the lockers only work with 20 cent coins... so stock up! and pls share with poor people like me who have no 20 cent coins.

after depositing your stuff, you will go to the auditorium, on the way you will see men running and a frogman with wings statue (very amusing).

inside the auditorium, you will be briefed on what NDU is, they will even show you this video!

after watching this video, they will tell you the benefits of NDU and explain why you are required to serve NS.

then comes the dividing, one group will go do fitness test first, one group will go do chamber diving.

but first! all will go draw blood :)

then will go respective places depending on your group... this post will be describing my group, aiya doesn't matter la, u will go all stations in the end anyway.

ok first went to a basketball court opposite NDU to do pull up and standing broad jump, the pull up bar damn shiok! got wrap padding one so ur palm wun pain (those who actually do pullups, you know what i mean :D)

after tht went for a swim, very short nia just 10m, is see u kia zui (scared water) anot nia. oh ya, after the swim, u wun get to bathe so dunnid bring shampoo ah, soap ah, conditioner ah, face moisturizer ah, and other rubbish. jus a bathing towel and plastic bag to put your trunks or shorts in, dun even need extra set of clothes coz u will probably be wearing it back after the swim.

then will go one on one interview with the warrant officers where you can ask questions about ndu and assess your interest level. i asked some questions for you guys le^^ they are listed below...

Eh~ How to be officer ah?

basically to be an officer you need to have good leadership all day long, be it during training or inside your bunk where your trainer can't see you because got peer evaluation one, not during training u zai means officer.

OOH~ Then come NDU BMT harder to become officer right?

YES. because standard thruout SAF all during BMT will choose only 5% but NDU intake lesser so chances are slimmer of coz.

Ok... So what is the normal intake of NDU like?

about 100-120 per intake

OK final question~! When will intake be?

August for PTP, October for BMT :)

*the above all answered by warrant officer ah! dun blame me ah if wrong!*

next we went for lunch, got chicken wing, braised nuts and veggie. got free flow of fruit juice!

after lunch, went for another check up, got sound test again, same as the CMPB one, got something like breathalyser, nid blow hard into it to test dunno what and lastly ear test, dunno test what also, stick the thing into my ear and press, like huge thermometer but not take temperature one. And bonus if u had irregular heart rate during CMPB check up, u will have to take ECG test (dunno if i got the alphabets wrong anot) to take ur heart rate again.

after the nurses done playing with you, u will have to go to doctor to check up, like put the stethoscope on ur chest and back den you breathe deeeply that one and test if you know how to do the Valsava Maneuver (click here if you dunno what is Valsava or here also can, or you want here?) which the nurses will teach beforehand which will be useful for chamber diving later on.

after check up, its chamber diving time! u need to change into full cotton clothing provided by them, i think i took too small size, almost broke the shorts, heng got elastic band kind den can stretch to my size :) ok inside the chamber, you will have to keep doing the Valsava Maneuver to keep the air pressure out your ears. you will be stimulated a 10m descend which is nothing if you take aeroplane before. the whole thing will take about 20 - 30 minutes.

after chamber diving, dinner time! got chicken wing, fishballs, some fish and veggie!

ok its getting late and now time for tests!

total got 4 tests, first, second and forth test is test personaility one. third one is iq test where you must complete 60 questions in 25 minutes. iq test most fun coz get to use brain while fourth test like shit man, got 186 questions! RAHH!

ok then after the tests will go home liao, go collect your phone and take bus back to sembawang mrt. they scheduled my bus to come at 8 so ya... about 8.15 will reach sembawang mrt.

basically the whole day will be quite boring, you may fall asleep, i did... so dun be embarassed if you do. anyway, thruout the day, you will be waiting and waiting and waiting, so be patient and have fun there :)

went to renew napfa results ytd,

over confident sadness...

but its ok, motive was to renew (were other motives but gave up and focused on renewing when i failed the first time)

tried 2.4km 3 times because if take another day need take all the other stations again... plus i have no time.

results of the 3 times are as follows:

13:00 (walked)
4:00 (2 rounds, gave up)
12:14 (had a FIERCE pacer to pace me, thx dude!)

overall i think i did well except for 2.4 lol.

ytd try out my new shafts and fletches, not bad... turned out, i dunnid to adjust anything, like kum kum ho.

the pro is that i click easier coz i dont overdraw when anchoring.

another pro is that my fletches wun drop due to a higher tolerance of clearance.

the con is that my sight nid adjust down means my hand raise higher means i will be more tired means i cant shoot finish two rounds.

3 sems no holiday has lead me to develop efficient time management skills.

over the last 3 sems, there has been hardly enough time for me to play and de-stress so i decided to cut sleeping time for playing time and nw my body clock is screwed! like weee! sleep time happens after 5am!

holidays + screwed body clock = maximum play time!

the first week of study break was awesome, got to spend more time with her ^^

this study break is like awesome because i have no holidays for 3 semesters already and even though its like a few wks nia, it is still good enuf for me to get some rest before the exams.

like i mentioned before... this sem is the worst for me man, all just pass nia, den cp also dunno teacher will give me anot haiz sadness. i do not want a high gpa like other ppl, i just want a pass and get on with the next sem...

the module which i am afraid i will fail is pfs and if i fail this, its like confirmed another sem in nyp le, sian... i barely passed from both papers and judging from the drawing i drew in the 2nd paper and my participation in class, my cp will be near to zero. i will need to achieve a B in the next exams to guarantee a pass.

this sem so sad must be because of stress from all the major projects like ift and ib, if u all noe wht i mean :(

ahhh! going to work hard next week and not let myself down for the exams.

ironically, calculus is the only module which i am doing well in and it does not have any module credits. -.-

want to go army sia, see so many ppl go, if given a choice i rather do a physical job (carrying stuff, driving machines, e.t.c.) than an office job but then pay comes into play and a P.J. salary is relatively low as compared to an O.J. so yea... ACCA here i come!

boring day sio! was hungry and wanted to waste time so decided to go an extra mile to make the doublemcgangbang since double stuff are the rage nowadays!

ingredients needed:

2x double cheese burger

2x mcchicken burger

steps:

1. select 2 out of the 8 buns u have

2. eat the remaining 6 buns because 3 pairs of buns are awesome (mcchicken one nt bad coz gt mayo and veg, the dcb one is jus gross)

3. start building ur 'meat tower' like lego starting with a bun and ending with a bun (any sequence in the middle is fine, to ur liking, 开心就好)

4. stand back

5. analyse ur burger, if satisfied move on to step 6, if not satisfied, tear down creation and start again from step 3

6. eat

7. regret

8. curse

9. finish eat

10. burp

abit ugly...

overall i feel that if wanna make stacko burger must use same burger and same meat if not the taste damn confusing de, u can't taste beef, u can't taste chicken, the only taste u taste is meat!
